			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Farm to Table Copackers (F2T) is a new full service contract packaging facility that is located in Kingston NY.  The production kitchen is a USDA inspected facility that maintains HACCP plans and is migrating towards SQF.   F2T produces a wide range of specialty food for its clients; from frozen soups, granola, quiches, cookies, pesto, pickles, chili’s, frozen vegetables and more. F2T is looking for a qualified assistant production manager.<br />
Tasks included in this job are:</p>
<ul>
<li>planning and prepping production runs</li>
<li>purchasing ingredients and tracking inventory </li>
<li>supervising and managing a production crew</li>
<li>collecting production data and tracking production costs</li>
<li>analyzing production data</li>
<li>maintain quality at the highest level  </li>
</ul>
<p>Required skills:</p>
<ul>
<li>ability to work and problem solve independently</li>
<li>fluent in English and Spanish</li>
<li>excellent computer and analytical skills, including use of spreadsheets</li>
<li>experience in the field of food production and in a high pressure environment</li>
<li>This full-time position needs to be filled immediately. Candidate must live in the area. Compensation will be in the $25,000 &#8211; $35,000 range based on experience and skill set.   </li>

WSF has grown to over 1,000 members and  is now looking for a part time team member to help with its NYC growth.  Although part time, this position has the potential to grow to full  time.</p>
<p>The job&#8217;s main task will be recruiting NYC members. This will include  visiting various NYC area CSA’s, helping to start new CSA’s and creating  marketing material. The job would also include:<br />
·         Setting up social networking sites for WSF<br />
·         Out reach to NYC schools, institutions and co-ops for bulk  local food sales.<br />
·         Overall coordination with other WSF locations. (WSF New Paltz,  WSF Westchester, WSF Connecticut, and WSF Albany)<br />
·         As a small company, the job would also incorporate other  aspects of running a start-up company.</p>
<p>WSF is looking for someone who understands the local food movement, is  familiar with the NYC area, including Brooklyn, and has proficient  computer social networking skills. The person must be very personable,  comfortable speaking with people and selling memberships. The person  must be highly organized and have the ability to complete tasks on their  own and on time.</p>
<p>The position needs to be filled immediately and will run till at least  the end of January 2011.  It will be an hourly position, starting at  approximately 20hrs a week. Compensation will be in the $12 &#8211; $15 range  based on experience and skill set.</p>
