Stoneledge Farm was hit pretty hard by the storm.  Thankfully Deb and Pete’s house is on high ground any everyone is safe.  But the fields took a big hit with over 10 inches of rain and severe flooding.  The National Guard is in the area clearing roads.  More information will be posted as things dry out and can be assessed.

This is what the farm usually looks like this time of year.

This is a picture of the fields after Irene.  The picture is taken from a similar place, the angle is a little different.

So sorry to hear about the farm and barn, but glad to know that you are ok. Thank you for farming amazing food – I am really enjoying it.

Without knowing all the details, the news from Stoneledge is getting better. The fields are drying out day by day and there are crops that survived the ordeal a bit muddier for the experience. More info to follow.
