Summer Squash – 3 pounds

Boothby Blonde Cucumbers – 1 pound – You may see some larger cucumbers, some brownish cucumbers and even some greenish cucumbers mixed in with the light blonde Boothby Cucumbers.  We tried a new variety of heirloom cucumbers this year, Poona Kherna.  Don’t think we will grow them again.  They are the ones that grow in so many different shapes and colors.  They are pictured in the seed catalog as a brown cucumber which should have been a hint right there, but I thought we would give them a try.  They still taste good-just very unpredictable and the brown ones are not very appealing.

Slicing Cucumbers – 2

String Beans – 1 pound

Peppers – 3 each

Eggplant – 4 Fairy Tale Eggplant – This is a new variety we are trying this year.  Small and very tender.

Fennel-1 bulb

Red Scallions-1 bunch

Cherry Tomatoes-1 basket.  We also tried three different varieties of Cherry Tomatoes this year.  There are Red, Yellow and the old favorite, Sungold.  The red cherry tomatoes are really big but they are a cherry.  The Yellow and Sungold look similar but the Yellow are more tear drop shaped. We are so very happy to finally be able to harvest tomatoes for everyone.

Thyme-1 bunch

Fruit Share
1 bag with White Nectarines and Peaches
1 basket Sugar Plums

The non-green cucumbers that we got the last couple of weeks were much tastier than the green ones: sweeter and with a more tender skin. Many people I have spoken to agreed, so I hope you do not give up on them without careful consideration.
